The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and has been in the limelight for quite a long time. The reason is nothing but the SRK-Kajol pair. The famous romantic DDLJ pair was last seen together in a movie around 5 years back. So this is sort of a comeback of the evergreen romantic duo.The film also has Varun Dhawan as Shahrukh's younger brother and Kriti Sanon as Varun's love interest.
 The songs from this film has already taken place in the chartbusters. The music is composed by Pritam. 'Gerua' the romantic song between SRK and Kajol is currently in everyone's playlist. The song is also well pictorised.
