Director Martin Prakkat is back with his 3rd film Charie starring Dulquer Salman and Parvathi Menon in lead roles. Dulquer join hands with the director for the second time after the success of 'ABCD' back in 2013. Charlie is expected to be a romantic comedy entertainer. Parvathi is pairing up with Dulquer for the second time. The duo had earlier shared the screen in Anjali Menon's 'Bangalore Days' in 2014.
Dulquer is in an entirely new outlook for the film creating curiosity among the viewers. The film will be released on 18th December 2015 . Reports say that the film is an experimental one and each of the characters will be portrayed in different looks. The shooting of the film started in May 2015. The main locations were Gujarat,Kochi and Munnar.
Writer Unni's previous venture was 'Munnariyippu' directed by cinematographer turned director Venu featuring Mammootty in the lead role. The film was critically acclaimed and bagged several awards.
