The trailer of Malayalam movie Charlie starring Dulquer Salman, Parvathy, Aparna is expected to have a record and it is one of the most hyped movie of the year. Martin Prakat the director of ABCD is back with the same team this Christmas. One of the highlights of this movie is the new look of Dulquer Salman with long beard which had already gone viral in Nivin Pauly starrer Premam. Parvathy Menon is also in extremely new look. Director Martin Prakat said that Charlie is a simple feel good movie and will be a pleasant watch without much expectations. Dulquer's next film Salala Mobiles is all set for release on 23rd January 2014. The film will have Dulquer & Nazriya in the main roles.The film is directed by Sharath A Haridasan. The main shooting locations of the film were Kozhikode,Coimbatore,Kottayam & Kodungalloor.

Salala Mobiles is a romantic comedy film which tells the love story between a mobile shop owner and a girl who is a regular customer at that shop.Dulquer plays the role of Afzal & Nazriya plays the role of  Shahana. How Afzal tries to find about the girl's details is what the story deals with.

Salala is the name of a city in Oman. Afzal's uncle works there. He is the one who sets up shop for him.Actor Santhanam plays a role in Salala Mobiles through which he marks his debut in Malayalam film industry. Jacob Gregory also teams up with Dulquer Salman after ABCD.

The movie is produced by Anto Joseph. Gopi Sunder will do the music by giving importance to Sufi Music.
