Our Rating:- 3/5

On the whole , London Bridge is a fine romantic drama set against the backdrop of London city which revolves around a rich guy & two beautiful women .

Vijay Das ( Prithviraj ) is a young successful Malayalai businessman who lives in London. He runs some corner shop & he also is a money lender. Vijay reached London after his college life & struggled a lot to attain a good status there. Vijay goes for clash with a man who has borrowed some money from him & didn't return back the amount on time.Later Vijay comes to know that the man who borrowed money from his was much respected by CS Nambiar(Prathap Pothen) a well known business tycoon in London. Vijay approaches Advocate Francis(Mukesh) who helps him in all emergency situations & they decide to meet CS Nambiar. Nambiar gets impressed with his nature & asks him to marry his daughter Pavithra( Andrea Jeremiah) who is very much interested in doing charity works. One day while Vijay was going to meet Pavithra , his car hits Merin Elsa John( Naditha Raj) who was new to city. She came there to work as a nurse in a hospital there. Merin's one hand gets paralyzed in the accident. Vijay visits the hospital where Merin works to impress Pavithra. Vijay forms an attachment toward Merin. Pavithra is also impressed with Vijay's nature & helping mentality & she falls in love with Vijay. Vijay has to find an answer to choose the right person for his life. This forms the rest of the plot.

So , London Bridge is a decent romantic entertainer which is a bit slow paced. It has some flaws but it has some essence in it.

Performance

Prithviraj performed well as Vijay Das with his looks & style & also with good performance. Andrea as Pavithra was also good. Nanditha Raj too gives decent performance with her cute looks & style of action. Prathap Pothen,Mukesh,Lena,Sunil Sukhada all did their roles well. All the other characters did justice to their roles.

Music

The music in this film was good. The Background score done by  Gopi Sundar dwells with the mood of the film. Two songs 'Kannadi Vathilil','Ennum Ninne' are impressive. The rest of the songs are not much impressive.

Technical Aspects

Cinematography by Jithu Damodar was excellent. He has captured the beautiful locations of London with much brilliance. The camera angles were good.

Direction & Screenplay

Jinu Abraham's script has many loop holes even thought it entertains. He could have tried more to make the script & dialogues much more impressive so that it creates a difference & makes it more interesting.

Anil C Menon had tried well to make the movie a good one. His direction was good even though it's not much impressive.

Verdict:- London Bridge is A Watchable Feel Good Romantic Drama...

Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal- An Average Feel Good Movie

Director: Lal Jose

Cinematography:- Pradeesh

Starring:- Dileep,Rima..

Script:- James Albert

Our Rating:- 2.75/5

Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal is quite different from usual Dileep Flicks. That's what I felt after watching the movie. Actually 7 Sundara Rathrikal is a feel good movie from LalJose-Dileep combo. This is the 7th movie from this combo.

Aby (Dileep) is an ad film maker. He decides to marry Ann(Parvathy Nambiar) . He takes this decision finally after delaying it for 7 years thinking about his failed romance. He comes to know from his childhood friend Abid(Harisree Ashokan) that his ex-girlfriend Sini(Rima Kallingal) is living at the same place.Abi goes to Sini's house to invite her for his wedding. Sini is now married to boxer Alex (Murali Gopi) . Aby forgets a cigarette pack at her house which causes a lot of problems. Within 7 days before his marriage , can Aby solve this problem ? This forms the rest of the plot.

Ezhu sundara Rathrikal starts as a romantic comedy , turns into suspense drama genre and then it ends up without all those great impressions. It is entertaining in the firs half which contains elements of suspence, comedy & drama. But in the later half when the details are revealed, it loses control. The problem is due to the half baked script.

Performance

Dileep is the main attraction of the film. His timely comedy & expression are good. Rima & debutant Parvathi has done a neat job.Murali Gopi gives out a fine performance.

Technical Aspects

Cinematographer Pradeesh Varma's camera job is excellent.

Music

Music by Prashant Pillai is good & the two songs in the film are good. The BGM is also excellent. It dwells with the mood & need of the film.

Script

Script by James Albert isn't a perfect one. It contains lot of loopholes. It is the half baked script that makes the film a bit down. His dialogues were good.

Direction

Lal Jose's Direction is what makes the film entertaining. Once again he takes an average script to a watchable flick.

Verdict :- It's A feel good movie. Different from Dileeps' earlier flicks.

Visuals can be deceiving but this is a special one. Here comes Mohanlal's christmas release. 'Drishyam ' in which Mohanlal & Director Jeethu Joseph teams up for the very first time. This is Mohanlal's fifth film in this year.
Nothing to say  'Drishyam' is an excellent movie from this combo...!

Georgekutty(Mohanlal) is a an orphan. Through his hard work he earns some properties. He runs a cable vision in Rajakkad in Idukki known as Rani Vision. He lives happily with his wife Rani(Meena) & two children Anu & Anju. George kutty is an ardent movie fan & he tries to solve his problems in a cinematic way. Things are fine till a brat Varun (Roshan) enters their life & spoils it. The rest of the film is engaging thrilling & emotional.Drishyam is surely a film that revolves around a family but it's much more than that. But the director Jeethu Joseph has managed to surprise the viewer with a completely different approach. It is a film without any artificiality & it engages the viewer with steady story telling.

The story doesn't offer anything new but the style in which it is made is surely awesome.

The film has an average first half which contains lot of family sequences for family audience. The second half was really thrilling & emotional. Lal Magic works out again in Kerala.
The first half of the film is like what we expect. But the second half is really excellent. What makes the film thrilling is its strong script & direction.

Perfect for all types of audience. A clean film. Must be a hit.

Performance
Mohanlal is the main attraction of the film. He acting was excellent as Georgekutty especially in some emotional moments.  Meena made a good come back. The child artists did their roles very beautifully. Kalabhavan Shajon's Sahadevan , the police constable was another notable character.  All other cast including Siddique ,Asha Sharath , Roshan etc do their roles perfectly.

Technical Aspects

Sujith Vasudev's camera has captured the beauty of the place. The visuals are too good. Ayoob Khan's editing is also good.

Music

There are two songs in this film. Both are good. Anil Johnson's music is good & also he deserves a special mention for the BGM of the film. 'Marivil ....' song in Drishyam has already become a hit.

Script & Direction

Jeethu Joseph once again establishes himself as a good director. His direction was superb. The script doesn't have much loopholes & it is very much entertaining. The strong script is the backbone of this film.

Verdict:- Drishyam is an entertainer which has elements of thrills, emotions & fun. Go watch it ....
