Thira Malayalam Movie Review. Thira (English: waves) , the third film from Vineeth Sreenivasan after Malarvadi Arts Club & Thattathin Marayathu is one of the best films released this year. This film marks the debut of Vineeth Sreenivasan’s younger brother Dhyan Sreenivasan and the return of actress Shobhana after almost a decade.

Thira is undoubtedly a first class thriller in which all characters including Shobhana & Dhayan Sreenivasan did a fantastic job. The story revolves around 2 people Dr. Rohini Pranab (Shobhana) & Naveen (Dhyan Sreenivasan). Dr.  Rohini is a cardiologist & she runs a welfare home for the upliftment of orphan girls. Things take a turn when her husband gets killed & few girls get abducted. Rohini goes on searching the missing girls while she comes across Naveen who is in search of his missing sister. They both have the same mission .Then the film becomes a mysterious thriller and make the audience anxious. Director 

Vineeth is successful in making the audience anxiously wait for the next scene.

Thira is the first part of a  trilogy directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. Thira gives a piece for the audience which makes them to wait for a second part.

Performance

Shobhana is still the evergreen actress of Malayalam Cinema. She is still the same National Award winning actress Shobhana whose presence made thira an awesome watch .Her performance was too good. Dhyan Sreenivasan being a debutant performed in a very best way. All others were good & perfectly chosen for their roles.

Music & BGM

Shaan Rahman’s Music was good & different. It is very much apt for the film.

Technical Aspects

Cinematography by Jomon stands out & Thira has captured all the scenes beautifully.

Direction & Screen play

Both as a director & writer Vineeth Sreenivasan is successful in Making Thira. It is his strong story & bold direction which makes Thira a must watch.

Verdict ; A must watch for the ones who expect a change. Perfect Thriller. Go for It.
